The Scotland Region cover a vast geographical area and encompasses a broad range of engineering construction sectors including pharmaceutical, power generation, petrochemical and nuclear decommissioning. The Scottish Region has a successful long standing track record of delivering innovative initiatives with the stakeholders in the region including ACE, Supervisory Apprenticeship Programme and ESF Supported Programmes.

The Scottish Government has recently announced demanding targets for renewable energy generation and we are now looking at how this will impact the region, its companies and the work available. Demand for skills in this area is forecast to be high and we will need to ensure that the workforce is fully skilled and in the coming years.
